Install this and when you want to remember a webpage for your Droid, just mouse over the black square in your lower toolbar and a QR Barcode will appear.

Scan it with barcode scanner on your Droid and you can load the webpage directly in your Droid browser or share the link with others via Email or SMS.

I have been using IE8 for some time now and like it, however I have found a thread with the trick you are stating and now I am back to using firefox again. It is great for quickly getting links and photos to the droid.....
