Final verdict on early upgrades?

I never really figured out what the final verdict was regarding the early upgrade to a droid x if you bought the original motorola droid in november, so can anyone tell me if you CAN in fact get an early upgrade to the droid x or point me to somewhere that answers my question?

shoot, just called them and said that it doesnt apply to me. Oh well, i guess ill wait for android 3.0
