I have upgraded from Droid 1 to Droid X i used Motorolla media link to transfer my stuff to and from my D1 but it does not play well with my DX. When i plug in my DX directly it takes me to verizon site and wants me to download some verizon sync crap that will not install because it does not like 64bit win 7. Is there a better way to transfer my pictures, music and such to the correct place on my DX? Some people have said to just drop all my crap to the root of my SD card and it will pan out in the end but that sounds very messy and unorganized is there an app that will do this or program?? thanks.

I just use USB Mass Storage Mode, which is faster than PC Mode. Then I make a Media folder on my card with subfolders like Pictures, Videos, Ringtones, Notifications, etc. and drag and drop them over.
