This doesn't work. Clicking it gives the message "WiFi is not connected" but it IS connected. Soooo... what now?

Are you trying to connect to your PC's folders?

Are the share settings for the folders enabled on the PC?

What pc are you referring to? I have an entire AD domain in my house... DC's, Exchange Server, Web Servers, so yes... "sharing" is enabled in this environment.

Nice attitude. Well apparently you set it up wrong since my mac server connects over the shared windows network and I can connect to it too.

Actually, if you go and READ my post you'll notice that I didn't set anything up. The whole point here is that when I click the button it tells me that wifi is not connected... but as I said, it IS connected. How's that for apparent?

I'm having a similar kinda problem with my new Droid2.. I have my PC's folders set to Shared... I have my WiFi connection turned on on the Droid2... it is connected to my home Wifi Network.. and it confirms it...

when I click on Shared Folders on my Droid2 I get an error window for User Name and Password.. I have no idea what it wants-- actually where to get the info.. I tried putting in my Network password... but what it wants for a User Name I don't know..

any help most appreciated.. thanx :)

username and password prompt?

I'm having a similar problem on my Droid X. I'm connected to the network, I see the list of available IP addresses with shared folders that I know share to each other over the wired network, but when I select one, I am prompted for a username and password. When I try the username and password of the Windows PC I'm trying to access, I am told it is invalid.
