FDR before Taking .902 Yes/No?

In anticipation of the .902 update hitting my phone is it worth doing a FDR to help performance? In doing some research, I read that some do the full reset prior to updating to keep the phone fresh and help speed, battery, and performance.

I haven't had nearly the amount of issues that some report, only a handful of data drops and airplane toggles. I'm stock/unrooted and on .893.

The only reason I can think to do so is because your Updates aren't working correctly, or you're currently having stability issues.

I did a hard-reset this week for one reason; after getting the .901 OTA update, checking for updates worked sporadically on WiFi, and not at all over 3G/4G. I backed up as much as I could with MyBackup Pro (I'm not rooted) and wiped the phone. Restored it fully after wiping, and from there, the updates function has worked.
