Faulty Keyboard

Sometimes, when I open my text messaging app or anything that requires typing, my keyboard suddenly won't work. Usually this happens after I haven't opened my phone for a while. I use the stock keyboard so I don't think there's a problem with that. What happens is that the letters I touch will be "typed" as in I can see what I type on the spellcheck line but the letters do not appear on screen so I can't actually say anything. Thanks!

I'd try a third party KB at least to see if it helps. I use perfect keyboard and never have issues. Does a reboot once in a while fix it? I generally reboot once a day just for grins and never have issues with anything.

Reboot not factory reset. Sheesh.
