Factory Data Reset Question

Alright, really dumb question, and am almost ashamed to ask.. but I guess it's better to look dumb, then to feel like a dumba...

Anyways, if I were to do a factory data reset, nothing on my sim card gets deleted right?

My phone is still running sluggish, even after the update, so I'd like to start fresh and see if that helps.

correct. only wipes data on the internal memory.

how do u wipe EVERYTHING? including data progs installed and stuff, i just did a factory install and had all my progsstill. I also unmounted my sd card, formatted it, and still have my progs...how do i get rid of everything?

Maybe this sounds dumb, but wouldnt a easy way be just to hook it up to computer and manually delete files?

And are you sure that all of that stuff is meant to be deleted?

So after doing a factory reset, I know I will need to reload any apps and contacts, how about the music that I have?
