I can't... when I click to add the account, nothing happens, it just goes back to the accounts listing page... but I can add gmail accounts no problem!

settings, accounts and sync, then click "add account" button
shows me the choice between corporate, facebook and google. I touch facebook, the screen slides to a white page for a split second, then slides back to the previous page (that shows the currently active accounts)...
Not a big deal, really, but it would be nice if it worked!
you open the facebook application on your phone and setup your account info, then the phone talks to fb and pulls your contacts over if you select it too.

But Droid had Facebook app preinstalled. On the milestone it isn't. I had this problem on 2.0 and I hoped it would go away with 2.1, but it's still here. I've tried reinstalling the facebook app. No luck there to.
How can i get it??? my g.f has the motorola dext and shes got the motorblur os which has the facebook contacted all in her address book which looks very nice.
woudlnt mind a APK if anyone has one floating about thanks
The Milestone version of the Facebook application doesn't support the syncing - however, if you download a copy of the Facebook .apk pulled from the DROID (I forget where I obtained it) you can then sync contacts as normal.
cool cheers, looks like its syncing all my contacts now! was easy just install the APK and now i have that account showing on my accounts menu.. the widget for home screen is nicer too!
One thing I've noticed, however, is that it doesn't seem to add the photos from the Facebook contacts into the ones that are on the local Google account...
