Facebook Just Put Everyones Birthday on My Calender

You can keep your contacts synced and not have the calendars show up.

Go into your calendar widget or whatever you use. Go to Settings -> Choose Calendar and uncheck Facebook.

knew there had to be a way.... like i said, I don't sync FB contacts, or even use the calendar so it was all foreign territory to me.

Holy cow! I have been trying to figure that out for months. I don't mind knowing birthdays but having someone I hardly know, birthday show up on my calender was nuts. This is what I get for being on Facebook.

I have this same problem...but my calendar isn't syncing with FB. I shut that off and rebooted for good measure. I did manually add several FB contacts to my contact list...so I guess their bdays are going to appear whether I like it or not (I don't like it...). What's weird is there are 2 events for each bday...each bday is listed twice on the same day in my phone calendar.

Suggestions?

If you're like me, you might be using a 3rd party calendar widget. In mine, Facebook is unchecked.

However, I just noticed that in the stock calendar app Facebook is/was checked-on.

I just unchecked the Facebook calendar in the stock app and all of my FB friends' birthdays disappeared.

Thanks, hauptm! I've been wanting to delete the FB birthdays from the stock calendar on my Incredible, and the info in your post made it happen.
