Facebook contact pictures not syncing/Shuts off randomly

Hey all,
I just got my droid a few weeks ago and I have been pretty happy with it except for two things.

1. The first is that my Facebook contact pictures never update and are always the same. Even when I try and change them to local pictures, the motorola quick contact widget finds the Facebook picture. I would like my pictures to sync by themselves, the only way i've been able to do it is by deactivating and reactivating my facebook account which messes up my contact links.


2. My Droid shuts off and restarts at random times during the day. I restarted on my today mid phone call while it was plugged in. Does this happen to anyone else? It used to happen sometimes to my Dare, but not this frequently :/

This happened to my devour after I had lots of stuff installed and running. It would reboot like 5 times a day. Factory reset made it stop doing that. It also kept messing up facebook contacts and pics. Also have less apps running use task manager app
