Facebook chat problem!!!

I havent used fb chat until recent, at least not from my phone fb app..
But now I'm experiencing very annoying problem..

Whenever my friend send me a message to start chatting, i do get notified but thats it.. i dont have any clue who sent the message and whats the message itself..

Few of the times i get notification WITH the message and who sent it..

But most of the time, i get notification "You have 1 message" only and i shud suffer unintentionally "ignoring" the message from my friends...

Anyone going through or hopefully gone through this problem w/ fb app????

Ive had this same problem forever. The FB app really blows. It shows the notification icon, then says you have 1 new message, I click on it and it looks like its going to do something but never does. Dont worry. Youre not alone.

Definitely not alone. happens to me a well. Hopefully facebook fixes that in the next update. Very annoying.

My buddy started having problems with his FB app I just suggested for him to uninstall the app then reinstall he did and started working again I know it sounds silly but doesn't hurt to try.

That actually does help some. I tried it the other day after the update where everyone was complaning about the constant refreshing and that did solve that problem. Maybe they should put that in the market description? Because the reviews for it are horrible.
