Facebook App Refersh Interval?

Ok, so I had gotten rid of the fb app a while ago because I knew it was draining my battery...however...I may be wrong, but is the app the only way to upload pictures from your phone to fb in the "mobile uploads" folder?

I was thinking yes, so I went and re downloaded it and set my refresh interval to the highest @ 4 hours....will this mean it will drain the battery the least or am I just better off of getting rid of it all together?

it drains battery? the fb app..how much difference did you notice

They updated the app so the excessive battery drain problem is no longer there. 4 hours will have the least amount of battery drain.
