facebook app fix found

I still AM NOT receiving notification from face book via my notification bar up top.

in the facebook App I have selected to active notifications and every 30 minutes.
in my facebook.com settings I have the android "UNCHECKED" should this be checked?

What notifications is this fixing. What's the dif if u have the box checked off or not checked off.

Checked the app works....
Unchecked, app does not update....

I have it checked, the only notifications I get on my notifications bar are friend requests, messages, and pokes

hasn't been working for me yet.

Tried... Still can't deal with notifications only every 30 minutes. Went back to Bloo and just unchecked email notifications for everything else.
