facebook app fix found

Go to the full website, not the mobile then settings then notifications then check off facebook for android then save and restart app and voila.

I don't see that option when I go to settings/notifications

it says send notifications to Jasonxxxxx@email.com then below it has a link where I can have then sent Via SMS as well...

Under "Notifications" , "Other Applications" click "show more" and there's the check box for "Facebook for android".

oh ok I found it, however I had it unchecked to begin with and have not been getting my notifications......
I have my FB App set to sync every 30 mins and notifications are turned ON

Yea but this only sends a notification to ur email, not the actual android app. Correct? If so I don't want the notification sent to my email, I want the app to work properly. How is this working for you guys?

dunno why it worked but I was messing around for a fix and somehow it worked
