facebook and error message

Hello. I am a new incredible owner. So far the phone has been great except for the battery life and an issue i have had the past two days. first i get a message that says android process acore stopped error. force to close. Reading the postings here it seems that maybe the error maybe tied into my facebook contacts. but when i review the contacts and links not all my facebook friends are even showing up to even link correct.
so basically my battery is dead, not all my facebook contacts show to link, and i get an error to force close whatever application i am in.
Help please
