Extended battery stats wont change

Went from the verizon extended batt (1800mah) to a 3500mah bagphone lookin thing. How do I get the phone to read the right percent? Deleted battery stats, let it die all the way, recharged to 100% and tried the battery calibration on the market. Everything gets me down to zero battery and it stays there for a good while. Any isight or threads to this?

The droid and Droid 2 don't read the 3000+ extended batteries correctly. I don't think there is a fix for this either.

Well that sucks. How bout if I get battery left? Doesn't it calibrate on its own?

If you have Clockwork Recovery installed, you can clear the battery stats and then try calibrating it. Should probably help.
