Extended Battery "Charging" when not plugged in

My extended battery (Samsung 2100) recently began to run hot. Upon further checking, the battery icon was showing charging, on my lock screen it stated charging, my widget did not indicate charging. Battery is draining rapidly. I have run the battery empty a few times and tried recharging, no luck, still shows charging. When I put in my original battery, no problems.
Any suggestions?

Have you tried to do a battery stats wipe and calibration? https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.nema.batterycalibration
Try this if not it's a lemon.
