Exchange email notifications not working consistently.

I have found that when I have the phone sitting idle i am not always getting notified when I receive a new email through exchange. I will unlock the phone and go to the standard email app. At first there are no new messages, but a few seconds later the emails start coming in and the notification bar shows that new messages have arrived. But the time stamp is some time back. I have the exchange email set to push. Anyone know how to fix this? I thought it was ATK causing the roblem but uninstalled it and the problem continued. Thanks for any tips.

Are you presently using the app Touchdown? Motorola is offering licenses for those experiencing problems with the stock app...

Yes in 2.2 - which if you want the license, I would request before the 2.2 update - because if it is fixed, they may not offer afterwards...it is nice to more than one way to access email...
