I am new to this and I need help. I just want to know how to uninstall apps that I don't need from Verizon. For example...VZ apps, Slacker Radio, etc. Can anyone help.

Welcome to the forums The only way to uninstall system apps is if your rooted.

Welcome. Yup, what he said. We affectionately call those useless apps "Bloatware".

Welcome to the forums and Droid 3 family! And yep, what they said, you'll need to root and install Titanium Backup Pro to freeze/uninstall them. Or root and download/flash ROMs the come debloated.
