EVerytime I turn around, my droid seems to be in SILENT MODE... why?

i really don't think i am activating the volume keys on the right side of the droid whenever i'm using the phone. but, more often than not, when i check my phone, it's in SILENT MODE... even though i haven't deliberately put it there.

any thoughts?
thanks, as always, in advance

there are 2 apps with that exact name
does either DISABLE the rocker switch?
thanks, once again..... for your help

The app I use has the lady bug for an icon. What happens is the volume gets changed by the rocker but is automatically changed BACK by the app. Youc an repeat cycle as much as you want but it stops it from getting stuck on silent, or worse for me, stuck on loud....

once again.... thank you

Thanks medicTHREE

That solved one of my problems - wanting the phone to stay on vibrate always. Another problem is when I don't answer an incoming call for some reason and then forget to take it out of my pocket later to check for messages. I would like to receive an alert (vibration) every few minutes to remind me that there is a message - one feature I miss from my old dumb phone. Any suggestions?

Burt

you can try Missed Call for repeat alerts.

i have this and it has all the configuration you'd want, but i'm not 100% positive it is working consistently - sometimes i think it's not working, but i might be wrong and oblivious since i didn't realize that "silent" mode also meant no vibrate. i am not using the Android 2.0 version of Missed Call though (from the reviews, the old one seems to be working better on Droid for some reason), so it might be better suited.

there is a definite lack of notification with The Droid - especially in-call alerts. i think i am getting texts during calls and never knowing about them until after the call is over ...or longer. kind of annoying.
