Eris problems. Please help!

My wife has a Droid Eris. She woke up this morning to it being stuck in headset mode. We have rebooted, pulled batt., tried pretty much everything to get it to work. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

I don't even know what headset mode is (like headphones?). but i do believe a bump is in order

Yes, headphones. Sorry I haven't been home to see it yet so just going by what she is telling me.
