Emails not really deleted on 1 account

I check both yahoo and comcast email accounts from my X. When I delete emails on the comcast account, they are not really being deleted. When I log into the account on a pc, they are all there. I don’t have this problem with my yahoo accounts. I am using the stock email app. Anyone know how I can change that so they truly delete? Thanks.

I'm using the K9 email client and it has an option to "Delete from server when deleted" that I have checked. However, they remain on the server and show up on my PC when I check mail with it.

I didn't see the "delete from server" option on the stock email app. Anyone have a solution for stock or K9 email?
