Email widget for K9 mail

I'm looking for a good widget to display new messages from my K9 mail.

Ideally it would not show ones that are read. I've been using MailWidget by Sopht but ever since I installed a froyo rom it's not working.

I did a search but didn't see anything in the forums.

Pure Messenger has a version for K9 I believe.

The pure messenger widget needs a special version of K9. I am looking for a widget that works with the stock app.
