Email sending is stuck

This actually happened to me yesterday! Not sure why. I tried to reply to an email and it stayed in my inbox and just said "Sending" in red. After awhile of not sending, I just deleted it and sent from my regular computer.

Just tried to send a couple test emails to my other email. No go.

It just sits in my outbox and says "Sending..."

If it's not one issue, it's another...

I just thought of something else. My email is also not syncing right over the past few days. I am getting the emails right away, no problem, but when I delete from my phone, they still show on my computer.

I haven't changed any settings (that I know of).

Okay. I think I fixed it.

I went thru all my sync settings again and unchecked/checked them all. Everything was fine setting-wise but still not sending.

So I went to Menu> Settings> Applications> Manage Applications> Gmail> Clear Data

I went back to my sync settings and made sure they were all still checked.

Sent an email to my other email and it worked right away.

Edited: Sorry about the duplicate posts... I hope this works for you tho!

Interesting, the email on my X is not syncing either. I have to manually refresh. Just tried to forward an email and it says 'email can be sent over wifi only'. I usually run 3G since only wifi usage is at home. How do I switch back to 3G for receipt of emails?
