Email notifications won't go away.

I've had to disable my Yahoo email because the notifications are driving me insane. In the email settings, I unchecked "email notifications" but when I run my Advanced Task Killer, it resets back to default. So I tried removing the task killer, but this time it went back to default the next time I powered my phone on. I also tried setting the notification sound to "Silent", but that also goes back to default.

It hasn't always been like this. Could it be an update I need to remove?

First, remove the task killer. The Android OS is designed to handle tasks. http://www.droidforums.net/forum/droid-applications/65483-task-killers-answer-google-developers.html

Second, open the app that has you Yahoo account. Tap menu, tap settings, tap notifications and disable notifications.

Third, open the accounts & sync (tap menu, tap settings, accounts & sync) tap the account that you want to be the primary and select.

Hope this is helpful.

Mike

I tried the Accounts & Sync part. But my Yahoo email wasn't an option there.
