My company is looking into supporting Android as well as our current Blackberry standard.
We have one issue that hopefully someone here can answer.
On the blackberry we have an application called "Message Alerts" it job is to check incoming email to the blackberry mail application and process them based on rules.
We have a standard rule that matches any 'high priority' message and sets off a corresponding alert/notification. Other rules can be set to delete message, etc..

I was hoping something like this existed for the android platform, or if something like this could be developed, I'm not against putting in the time to write something if that is what is needed.
