Email Encryption used in Gingerbread

Hi everyone, I have searched all over the Internet and am having trouble finding this information. My company is thinking about moving to the new Razr, however email encryption is a big concern because we are in the healthcare field. Does anyone have any information (or know where to find it) about how Gingerbread (or ever Ice Cream Sandwich) handles email encryption (standards, process of encryption, etc...)

We currently use Blackberry phones, and this information is laid out on their website at:
BlackBerry - Wireless Data Security at BlackBerry.com

This is the type of information I am looking for.

Thanks in advance for the help!!!
