"email address invalid" warning when using my Browser

Like the title says, almost every time i try and type my email address in the email field when using my stock internet browser, I get a "email address invalid" warning and it won't accept my email address. I check to see if the address is correct, and it is, no spaces or extra characters. I'm stumped. It's very rare that my email will actually be accepted and this is getting very annoying.

Any Ideas?
