Easyroot for droid2

Hi everyone. Im new here. Does anyone know of an easyroot for droid 2. Ive tried one that wasnt for this model and no luck as of yet.

I would advise against "easy" rooting. Knowing what's being done will come in handy when/if things go wrong in the future.

Ok that makes sense! I did try the androot and it failed with no harm done. Think I will just wait until O learn more. Thanks!

Thinking of just waiting a bit. Im without my laptop now and have been told before to stay away from easy root.

To answer your question rooting gives you administrative permisions so that you can do things you ordinarily couldn't. Things like loading custom roms, adding themes, and using root apps like those that help you over/under clock the cpu or take screenshots.

I want to have a custom rom. I realy dont need to overclock and yes a big part for me is to learn and understand more!

As for you that's cool. But just so you know, my prefered method of root does not require a computer so you don't need the laptop if you don't have it. If you decide to try it its stickied at the top of the d2 hacks section, and either myself or someone else that can help is always around here somewhere. No pressure though just letting you know you're covered.

Seeing all the roms available and new themes is awwsome! No two phones have to be alike. Its like getting a new one.
