I just bought the .apk
Before I play withthis I figure I'd be better off asking how to install it. Do I just copy it over and install it via astro file manager?

Thanks

Easy Root does not work on 2.2D28 and above. What do you mean you paid for the .apk? Can you give me a link, I'd like to look at it just in case there have been some changes.

It's not the only way to root Droids with 2.2.1

You can go to XDA-Developers.com and look up Super One Click Root. Install the program onto your computer and then follow the instructions. Otherwise the only other way is in the link above.

[APP]SuperOneClick v1.5.5 (Root, Unroot, Enable Non-Market App, Get UNLOCK code) - xda-developers

I said this? Ugh.

FRG83D, like you have, requires superoneclick or link 2 in my signature to root. EasyRoot not only will not work but doesn't install half the stuff you need in order to really use root.

As such, demand a refund, then use superoneclick like previously posted or follow link 2 in my signature. I recommend link 2 because, honestly, if you're hooking your phone up to a computer anyway you might as well get a custom recovery image.
