duplicate ringtones

When I create a custom ringtone with any of the ringtone creator apps, everything's good, until I unmount/mount the sd card Once I do that, a duplicate ringtone shows up in the phone list. It's not a major problem but I tend to have ocd with these things and have tried all sorts of things to prevent it but I've had no luck. Does anyone know what to do? I'm using a Droid 2 Global. I don't think it's the phone because I've had the same problem with my previous droid x.

i have this exact same problem! and it's driving me CRRRRAAAAZY! i'm totally ocd about this sort of thing too. it's not a huge deal... i mean it doesn't affect the ringtones at all it's just that it makes for a very messy looking ringtone list lol!
