Is there an app that blocks duplicate messages?

There is an SMS Bomb blocker. It would accomplish the samer thing.

If you are getting the same message from two different apps like the stock messaging app and a market app like handcent, chomp, ect.... you need to go to the app that you do not want the message to come from and goto settings and disable notifications
