I've never rooted or dabbled in stuff like that.

I took the battery out immedietaly after I got it out of the water, and I dried everything out with canned air and let it sit for over 2 hours. I made a call, sent text, used the internet and everything worked fine, then I take it out of my pocket and it was off, when I turn it on the Motorola logo comes up for about a second and then the screen is black except for this text in white.

Bootloader
2C.7C

Battery OK
OK to Program
Connect USB
Data Cable

Please help, I connected the USB and nothig happens. Sorry I'm a noob to any kind of rooting or ddep technical stuff like that.

thanks

EDIT: My phone is a Droid 1 on stock 2.2

EDIT 2: I apologize, I was a little frantic so I made this thread but now I see a similar one that got shut down with my same problem. I'll do some searching, hopefully this has been answered.

If there is any hope for your phone then its using rsd lite to flash a sbf. Search for "Motocache1 root regardless" either in this forum or google. It may seem like a lot to a noob, but take your time to read it.
