Dropped droid in toilet

I was half asleep a few morning ago, and end up dropping my droid 2 in the toilet.
I had dried it, have it in rice, and then plugged it in.
everything works, except it wont charge.
If i leave it on the charger will it eventually "jump start" and start charging?

How long did you let it dry? It's possible that the contacts for the charger have shorted out.
