Why can't I talk on the phone and look things up on the web or facebook

We need a little bit more info to help you! Are you rooted? Are you on a custom rom? Froyo or gingerbread? Having reboot issues? Any more info you can give would help! Just try powering off then back on for now.

Because the Droid X is not capable of doing so on Verizons 3G CDMA service. Only way to do so on the droid x is to be on a WiFi connection for surfing and 3G for the phone conversation...

Dude...really? How is pulling the battery going to make her phone do something that it inherently cant do by design of the phone and the service company?:icon_eek:

You can pull the battery, add an extended battery, root, rom, spray paint and wax the Droid X...its still not going to do Voice and Data(net surfing) over 3G...only when connected to a WiFi signal...
