Droidtone

I just purchased the HTC droid incredible and I cannot locate the famous "Droid" Ringtone. Has anyone else experienced this with the incredible? Where can I locate it or download it?

And as a sidenote, why is this not a standard ringtone? I was under the impression it was standard for droids.

Ya I searched this as well....not sure why it's not with phone. Anyways find the app....aka ringtones from the android market and open it and then search Droid ringtone....it's pops a few up but you will see the right one......good luck

Search droid notification on this site. I know tp76 posted the file a while back. If you can't find it i'll dig up a link. That is of course if he doesn't beat me too it.

spaz must have forgot -

unzip the file and put the droid.ogg in a folder named "notifications" inside of a folder named "media" on your SD card and it will show up in your listed system notifications

Actually tp I didn't forget. Someone pmd me las week looking for it and I spen an hour trying to find the thread where you posted that. Saving that zip to my phone now in case it comes up again lol.
