DroidForums Quick Review: Microsoft's Next Lock Screen App

After a fun afternoon of video production, we are kicking off our first video in a new Quick Review series we want to share with our members. We plan to offer up some quick reviews of apps, smartphones, tablets and whatever we can get our hands on. Our videos here at DroidForums will be "laser-focused" on whatever product or service strikes our fancy at that time, so you don't have to worry about long, boring monologues.

Our first Quick Review today is of the Microsoft Next Lock Screen app. We've heard good things about the app, and felt like it would be a great example product to kick off this series, since it's simple and easy to use. As always, thanks for joining in here at DroidForums and enjoy the video!

I like that the lock screen shows the upcoming events that are on the calendar. That's a very handy feature for those who are on the go and book lots of appointments.

I decided to use it as an extra lock screen as a result of my Note 3 randomly unlocking in my pocket. Works out really well. The 3 way customizable section is gravy on the cake. I sent M$ feedback on several things it could do better, or add to it.
Bottom line? It is worth a d/l and a try; may not be for everybody but it works for me...
