I don't mind this alert when emails come in, but the volume on it is way too loud. Is there some way to adjust it?

You can adjust ringer volume, notification volume, and media volume all separately. Just lower it a notch or two

Glad you found the setting. Each of the three volumes can be set individually so it should definitely help you out!!

Notifications is actually a fourth slider but you have to hit a checkbox before it appears. The other three are Ringer, Media, and Alarm.

I see. I have the D1 so I'm not surprised it's a lil different. But thanks for the info. so other members will know!

Android is pretty much exactly the same across all devices, but there are some slight differences. Nothing we can't figure out tho.
