Droid X2 and Jawbone

I have a Droid X2 and have paired my jawbone. When I push the button it says "Voice Dialing" but if my phone is locked it will not say anything else nor will it let me use the voice dialing feature. However, if the phone is not locked and I push the button it says "Voice Dialing" and then says "Please Say a Command". Does anyone know how to get it to this when the phone is locked?

Never mind, so this was an easy fix just playing with the phone. I went to Settings - Location and Security Settings and clicked the option to "Allow Bluetooth to Bypass"
