Can anyone tell me how to assign different ringtones to the alarm clock that came with the Droid X2? It has about a half dozen lame sounds and I need something louder. Prefer to use alarm that came and not have to download another app...
Its been a while since I had my x2 but I'm pretty sure if you go into your menu/sound / notification sounds and long press what ever sound you want it will give you the option? Or maybe try going into ringtones or your music and doing the same thing? Sorry I can't be of more help, but again its been a while since I've had mine, you can also try and find the answer by Googling or you tube, which I think I will do now.
Got it to work. Connect via USB to computer as mass storage, then view files on computer. Create a folder called "alarms" in main dir of phone and drag any mp3 file (maybe also .wav) into this folder. Don’t forget to mount SD card before you look for the ringtones to use for alarms.
