Droid X Will Not Turn On

I have had my Moto Droid X for a few months now and have loved it. Not a single issue, until now. I was on the phone, over speaker, with the usb connected to my laptop to charge the phone as i talked. The phone shut off on its own (which it has been rebooting itself lately when using youtube), and i can not get it to turn back on. It shows no signs of life at all. Any ideas before i take it to Verizon?

Pull the battery out...let it set for about 5-10 minutes...make sure it isnt still plugged into the the laptop. It could be that the phone shut off due to overheating since you were connected to the laptop and talking on the phone at the same time...just a guess.

After it sets and cools, pop the battery back in and see if it will boot...

Try booting into download/flash mode. (Power+ Menu?) If you get it that far you should be golden for re-flash.
