Droid x vs. My OG Droid in quadrant

Okay so my cousin came over tonight with a droid x. I decided to do a little testing. At 1ghz the og prevailed three times in a row but not by much (mid 1400s to low 1500s). I am using cmod 6.xxx..whatever the latest is. I decided to show off my slayer 1.2ghz kernal. Og benchmarked 1750's the two times I ran it. Game over! Cmod + slayer kernal = undefeated. :) Anyone have any og stories to tell?

Was the DX stock? I have rooted, OC'd, compcache'd, hacked to hell & back OG Droid but I would much rather have the DX.

I don't think Quadrant scores tell the entire story, the shortage of RAM really hurts us and I don't think that is reflected very well in Quad.

Quadrant scores don't mean much unless you plan on doing a lot of graphics intense tasks.....But says nothing for other performance.

With that said Ive gotten 1900ish on my droid X.......creaming a D1.

I just love my og. I am not hating on dx. I love screen on dx and os was smooth and snappy.

D1 will always be a major player....it started the revolution :) I've owned the D1, Incredible and now X, and have loved all of them.

Im looking for next phone. I just don't see a phone yet that makes me wanna jump on it.
