Droid x video output to tv

How can I output video from my droid x to my tv other than the hdmi cable our other formats through the hdmi cable. Looking for a universal method beyond mp4 (streams etc)

You should be able to output over DLNA, but you either need a DLNA router, TV, or Blu-ray player. BTW, there is a forum for the Droid X where I believe you would've been better helped.
