Droid X sending blank texts.

Every once in a while, my friend will tell me that the message I just sent to them is blank. I've had it happen to multiple contacts and I have no way of telling it did not send correctly, because from my side it looks good, but they receive a blank text message.

Anyone else having this issue?

Did you ever find a fix for this? I got my DX about three weeks ago and I'm experiencing the same thing. I have people tell me that the text I sent them was blank or they will receive a text that has been cut off and only show a few words. Very frustrating! I even had a replacement DX ship out next day to me but this one is doing the same thing.

I was having the same problem with my droid x. I figured out that it was caused by the symbols in my signature, « and». Texts sent fine to android phones, but were blank, partial, or garbled on other cells. Make sure you aren't using any incompatible symbols when texting "dumb"phones. Hope this helps.
