Droid X reaction time of accelerometer - Portrait to Landscape - Seem slower now?

Does anyone notice that their phone seems to be reacting more slowly with any changes driven by the accelerometer, like switching from landscape to portrait and back, or even just taking the phone away from your ear after a call and waiting for the screen to come on? Mine seems significantly slower than it used to be. Is there a setting or an app that would allow user control of this? The only option I can find is to turn off the feature entirely and leave it in portrait at all times.

The screen timeout can be adjusted via the build.prop (requires root) as for the tilt, im not sure, however; I did notice the same "issue". Its annoying lol.
