Droid x Question

I have a droid x that has water damage, starts up everything works except the screen does not light up, but i can see the icons in the background when i put it by a light , is there a way to fix that maybe a new lcd screen??

a new screen or backlight would probably take care of it, if you know how to replace such things

my X is my girlfriend's old phone which she thought was trash because when she was at the beach the tide came up and it got wet, and when she realized and picked it up nothing would work properly. I stuck it in a bag of rice overnight and then SBF'd the phone and have been using it without any problems from the water damage for three months now

Thank you, yeah im thinking its the back light, i have changed lcd screens before but not the backlight should be fun...lol
