Droid X Proxy Server Settings

In order to connect to the WIFI at work and get out the internet I have to go thru a proxy server and I can't figure out how to set the proxy server settings. I have tried searching the forum here and searching on Google and I haven't found much other than Android doesn't support which seems surprising to me. So if Android doesn't support it then are their any apps that will fill the gap so that I can connect to the internet at work? Just to let you know I have a Droid X and I am not rooted. Thanks.

Boy it sure would be nice if Google and Motorola got the WIFI issuse with the X fixed. I guess maybe we can hope that they do in the next upgrade but who knows when that will be.
