Droid X pre purchase prep

So I'll be there at 8:00am when the store opens (I have an appointment at 8:00am). Get the phone, maybe buy some accessories, then out the door and play!

What prep items can I do before I buy the Droid X so that my transition to a smartphone is enjoyable?

Some things I have done so far:
I have spent a LOT of time on these forums, youtube, other sites learning about Droid OS, apps, etc.
Setup gmail account.
Added all my contacts (cleaned / purged) to gmail.

What else?

just search here for ones that you would find useful

AndroLib, Find all applications and games available in the Android Market for your Android Phone, HTC Dream, HTC Magic etc...

755p owner, royal PITA but only spent 2 hours on 380 contacts.

Here is how i did it:

1. Export .csv to desktop

2. Import in Gmail

3. Open both Palm Desktop and Gmail 50:50 on screen.

4. Review each record, esp the ones with "Custom 1,2,3 etc." because this is where things get mixed up or omitted. Also watch for text you entered showing up under phone numbers.

Overall a lot less painful than anything else i tried.

God i love the possibilities, Gmail, Voice, Calendar, now if corporate can get their gears moving and get my Droid X. It has been "ordered" and it will arrive "mañana" :)
