droid x not turning on?

hi my friend tried rooting his droid x and now wont turn on.. is it fixeable??

How low was his battery before he tried rooting? What did he try to root with...Z4 or some other way?

Pop the battery out, let it sit for a minute or two, then pop it back in and see what that does...

ill ask him more thourogly on that.. he actually might give me it since he ordered a new one. so i was maybe thinking if i can fix it
