Is there a default way to keep the GPS displaying on day mode permanently? I don't like the night mode at all. I am not even sure when the night mode comes on, but it does.

Wow...I've never seen night mode on my Droid or my X....

They stole that feature from Garmin. 
But Garmins can shut night mode off.

We had night feature on our Milspec gps back in 83 when I was in the Marines. So I am sure Garmin has no claim to it
